Description The Grivas costumes were designed and manufactured by Peasok Studio as a commissioned project for the show collective SeeStars, working in the fields of fire and light shows, original genre performances, and dance productions. The project was created for stage performances involving active choreography and the use of laser gloves, where the visual image of the costume was required to enhance movement and operate in conjunction with lighting effects. The primary task was to develop a mirror stage costume with a unique design that maintains expressiveness in motion, interacts correctly with laser props, and does not distract from the performers’ physicality. The costumes were conceived as an integral element of the show itself, rather than as decorative stage attire.
Construction & Technology The costumes are constructed using mirror elements integrated into the stage structure with consideration for performer mobility and regular professional use. During development, particular attention was paid to form balance, wearing comfort, and the stability of elements during active movement and dance. The costume construction is designed to function within complex lighting scenes, including interaction with laser gloves and other lighting effects used in show productions. ______________________________________________________________ Grivas - a completed Peasok Studio stage costume project for dance and light shows, featuring mirrored surfaces and interaction with lighting props.
