LED Stage Costumes - Sprut Girls

Large-Scale Stage · Female Silhouette · Open-Face Design

Description
Sprut Girls is a female variation of the Sprut stage costume, developed by Peasok Studio as an independent solution based on the original concept. The image was adapted for the female silhouette while preserving the core characteristics of the base costume: large scale, non-human form, and high visual density.
The task of the project was to create a version of the Sprut costume suitable for female performers without simplifying the image or reducing its expressiveness. Sprut Girls retains the characteristic multi-limb structure and strong visual dominance, while taking into account anatomy, movement plasticity, and the stage dynamics of female performance.
Unlike the original Sprut costume, Sprut Girls features an open face design, without a closed mask. This solution strengthens emotional connection with the audience, expands possible use cases, and allows the image to be integrated into formats where facial expression and performer recognition are important.

Construction & Technology
The Sprut Girls costumes are built on a modular architecture with division into autonomous elements, each equipped with its own power source. The construction is adapted for the female silhouette: proportions, distribution of lighting elements, and system balance were revised to ensure stability and comfort during active movement.
The modular system simplifies transportation, assembly, and maintenance, and reduces preparation time before stage entry. All elements are connected using reliable connectors, forming a unified system without complex external wiring and ensuring stable operation of the lighting elements in dynamic stage conditions.
