LED Visors for MUSE

Wireless Synchronization · Touring Ready · Professional Use

Description
A set of 19 LED visors designed and manufactured by Peasok Studio for the brass ensemble accompanying the rock band Muse during their Simulation Theory World Tour 2019.
The primary task of the project was to create autonomous visual devices capable of operating synchronously with each other while providing high reliability and ease of use during extended live performances. The visors provide clear visibility, lightweight wear, and stable wireless communication between devices, which is critical for coordinated group performance on stage.

Construction & Technology
Each visor is equipped with an independent power system, a high-brightness LED array, and a built-in radio module for synchronization with other units in the group. To ensure uninterrupted communication, a stable protocol-based radio architecture was implemented, optimized for low latency and resistance to interference.
The visor housings and mounting systems were developed with ergonomics and long-duration stage use in mind: the units are lightweight, durable, and comfortable during active performances. All components are integrated into a unified system designed for regular professional operation.
